In her own experience she found that a good number of children especially girls, are not able to go to school neither finish up primary education. The reason behind this is either nobody to take care off or they are abused sexually and work in urban areas as house girls with very low payments.
KIATA aims at:
Uplifting orphans and needy children's life standards by providing education, basic needs and advocating for their human rights.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Kilimani Association Tanzania is to provide educational opportunities for the Orphans and needy children of Tanzania main land who otherwise would be unable to attend school.
Our vision:
Our vision for orphans and needy children is, Education in all its fullness.
Why the Children Need Your Help?
Many Tanzanians children are orphans and others come from very poor families who earn hardly enough for food and shelter. Education is not free and going to school is often not an option for these children. Without an education, these children will likely be stuck in poverty. We are determined to give the orphans and needy children of Tanzania mainland the opportunity to rise out of poverty and live up to their full potential

How did it started?
KIATA was founded in 2000 by Mrs. Agape Nchimbi married to George Sanga. Agape was so ambitious since she was young, She thought of how to make her self happy with life, how she gonna live, which life style to adapt. She thought of: ''owning a good home, good job, and to have enough money, the question was, will all these bring happier life to me? ''I will die and leave all behind me''. Still it was a big question and it was burning in her head. She thought of sharing what she has with helpless children will make her happy and that will be her own life style. Agape believed that little smile and love can change the world. Since smile and love will make everyone happy, hence poverty reduction through working happily.
She started exercising her own life style in 2000, where she adapted one child. In 2001 she had adapted six children. She rent a furnished house for them to live, due to little salary she had, children had to take their breakfast, lunch and dinner at her home place. It was not easy to handle, but because she desired to do it, she managed. I try to give Orphans and Needy children for love, what the rich could get for money.
In 2004, Agape sold her idea to friends and relatives that todays' the most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved, and there is more hunger in the world for love and appreciation than for bread. So she invited upon to join her to fight this terrible poverty, remeding by providing care, love and appreciation. She said: ''Do not wait leaders, do it alone person to person''
Invitation to the world
